These Terms and Conditions apply to the web site mwsarasotapainter.com, and the web pages interactive features, applications, social networks, that post a link to these Terms and Conditions. Please carefully read the following because, by using this Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this Site. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter or update these Terms and Conditions, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates.
Services Provided MwSarasotaPainters offers the following services: - Residential - Interior and exterior painting - Surface preparation (e.g., sanding, caulking, priming) - Application of paint, stains, and protective coatings - Cleanup after job completion Custom services not listed above can be discussed and agreed upon separately.
Estimates and Consultations - All quotes provided are estimates based on the scope of work discussed during the initial consultation. The final price may vary if the scope of work changes due to unforeseen circumstances, additional requests, or changes by the Client. Any price adjustments will be communicated promptly and agreed upon before proceeding.
Work Schedule - Upon accepting the estimate, we will agree on a start date and estimated completion date. Delays may occur due to weather, unexpected site conditions, or other factors beyond our control. The Client will be informed of any delays as soon as they arise.
Client Responsibilities - The Client agrees to: - Provide access to the property during scheduled work hours. - Ensure that all areas to be painted are clear of furniture, personal items, and obstructions. Notify us of any concerns regarding the project within 24 hours of completion. Obtain any necessary permits or permissions required for the work.
Paint and Materials - We will provide the materials required for the job unless otherwise specified. If the Client wishes to supply their own materials, this must be communicated in advance. We are not responsible for the quality or durability of the Client-supplied materials.
Payment Terms - A deposit is required to confirm the booking and will be discussed through initial consultation or Estimate. Payment is due in full upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any additional work requested after the quote is accepted will be invoiced separately
Warranty and Liability - We offer a 2 year warranty on our workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors such as weather, accidents, or misuse. We will not be liable for damage to personal property unless it is caused by negligence on our part. The Client is responsible for protecting valuable items in and around the work area.
Cancellation and Rescheduling - We firmly require a minimum of 5 days notice of cancellation before the scheduled start date in which the client will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within those 5 days of the scheduled start date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit or estimated cost . If the client fails to provide access or is unprepared on the scheduled start date, we may charge a rescheduling fee. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or emergencies.
Dispute Resolution - In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue amicably before pursuing legal action. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws Sarasota County, FL.
Modifications to Terms - MwSarasotaPainters reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Client in writing before taking effect.
